🪙 Bloomly — Terms of Service

1. Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to anyone who uses Bloomly — the app, the website at bloomly.pro, and any related services. By using Bloomly you agree to these terms. If you are setting up the app for your family, you are responsible for ensuring all family members use it appropriately.

2. What Bloomly is

Bloomly is a family finance and chore-management tool. It lets families create a virtual coin system to reward tasks, track savings goals, manage allowances, and build good financial habits. The coins in Bloomly have no monetary value unless you choose to set a conversion rate within your own family — any real-money exchanges are entirely between family members and are not processed by Bloomly.

3. Your account

You do not need an account to use Bloomly — the app works entirely on your device. If you create a cloud account to enable sync across devices:

• You must provide a valid email address and a password of at least 8 characters.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• One cloud account covers one family. Do not share your account credentials with people outside your family.
• You must be 18 or older to create an account. Child members are set up by parents within the app and do not have their own accounts.

4. Premium subscription

Some features require a Premium subscription. The following applies if you subscribe:

• Billing. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. You will be charged on the same date each month.
• Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then and will not be charged again.
• Refunds. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-month, your subscription remains active until the period ends. Exceptions may be made at our discretion for technical issues that prevented you from using the service — contact us at ssingh12@yahoo.com.
• Downgrade. When a subscription ends, Premium features are disabled but your family data is kept intact. You can re-subscribe at any time to regain access.
• Price changes. We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price increase via the in-app announcement banner and by email.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Bloomly for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other families' data
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
• Use automated tools to create accounts or generate excessive server load
• Impersonate another person or family

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

6. Your data

Your family data belongs to you. We store it to provide the service and do not sell it or use it for advertising. You can export your data or delete your account at any time from Settings. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

7. Service availability

Bloomly is provided as-is. We aim to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The app is designed to work offline from your device even when our servers are unreachable, so a temporary outage should not affect your day-to-day use.

We may occasionally take the service down for maintenance, with notice via the in-app announcement banner where possible.

8. No warranty

Bloomly is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or that data will never be lost. We take daily backups and take data safety seriously, but we recommend using the Export feature periodically as an additional precaution.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bloomly and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including loss of data, loss of coins, or disputes between family members about coin balances.

10. Children

Bloomly is designed for use by families together, under parental supervision. The app is suitable for children aged 6 and over when used alongside a parent or guardian. Parents are responsible for how child members use the app and for ensuring it is appropriate for each child's age and ability.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Children do not create accounts — only parents do.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms. If we make material changes we will notify users via the in-app announcement banner.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
